PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply decide the photographing position of a tomographic image by holding the external shape of a measuring target.
SOLUTION: A specimen 18 is housed in a specimen holder 64 so that a measuring region may be restricted by a measuring cavity part and mounted on an optical tomographic measuring instrument 10 so that the side surface provided with a position marker 70 of the specimen holder 64 may turn to the side of a gantry 23. When the specimen holder 64 is mounted in the measuring part 12 of the optical tomographic measuring instrument 10, the acquirement of measured data is started and the specimen holder 64 is moved in the axial direction of a machine frame 26 while subjecting the measured data to image processing to display the same on a monitor 16 at any time. When the position marker 70 of the specimen holder comes to the photographing position, the position when the measuring result 72 of the position marker 70 is recognized is detected by image recognizing processing to be set to a controller 52 as the standard position of the photographing position of the tomographic image.
