PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorptive article formable of an erected end different from a base end part of an erected portion, by providing a side sheet formed with a multilayer portion partially in a width-directional side way, and by making a lower layer side sheet of the side sheet separable from an upper layer side sheet.
SOLUTION: A sanitary napkin 1A of the present invention includes a vertically long absorptive main body 10 equipped with an absorptive body 4, and the side sheet 5 in longitudinal both side parts of the absorptive main body 10. The side sheet 5 includes the base end part 73 formed by fixation with other member, and a free end part 74 not fixed to other member in an inner side of the base end part 73. The side sheet 5 is formed with a multilayer area having the upper layer side sheet 51A and the lower layer side sheet 51B, between the base end part 73 and the free end part 74. The lower layer side sheet 51B is separable from the upper layer side sheet 51A, and a lower layer terminal part 510 of the lower layer side sheet 51B is arranged between the base end part 73 and the free end part 74 of the upper layer side sheet 51A.
