An insulator (1) and pin (9). The insulator comprising: an insulator body (2) a formation for supporting a wire or tape and a mounting formation by which the insulator may be attached to a support comprising: a forked portion having a pair of limbs (3,4) extending in a spaced apart relation at least two hole sets (5,6 and 7,8) extending transversely through the first and second of the limbs, the hole in each of the first and second limbs being coaxially aligned, each of the hole sets being separate from the other hole sets. The pin comprises first (11) and second parts (10) being substantially perpendicular to each other. In use one part of the pin is secured in one hole set.
