PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce threshing loss such as remaining unthreshed grain culms by suitable threshing treatment as well as reduce consumed power while keeping the thickness of the grain culms in a threshing chamber (packing density of the grain culms in the threshing chamber) at a proper thickness suitable for the threshing treatment.
SOLUTION: An auxiliary relaying chain (6b) for relaying grain culms from the conveyance end part of a grain culm-feeder (5) to a feed chain (4) is placed in a reaping pretreatment device (3), and the auxiliary relaying chain (6b) is installed inside the feed chain (4), wherein the conveyance end part of the auxiliary relaying chain (6b) is installed at a part backward of a conveyance-starting part of the feed chain (4), and a chain rail (44) for supporting the auxiliary relaying chain (6b) is brought to be supported to the side of a travelling vehicle (2) through a support rod (43) and the auxiliary relaying chain (6b) is communicated with a transmission unit (12) transmitted in synchronization with the vehicle speed from the side of the reaping pretreatment device (3).
