PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate an abnormal discharge with respect to a discharged type photocatalytic deodorizing device suited for deodorization of a refrigerator.
SOLUTION: A positive electrode 9 on which a high voltage is applied, a negative electrode 11 opposing the positive electrode 9, and a photocatalyst 13 arranged between the positive electrode 9 and the negative electrode 11 are provided in a blast channel 5 in which a blower 3 is arranged. In the positive electrode 9, a cut edge area A, formed by cutting an electrode plate 15 having a number of penetrated bores into a predetermined dimension, is coated by a electrode cover 19 the end face 19a of which is rounded so as to prevent the abnormal discharge from the cut edge.
