PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a diaper with a tuck portion by which the diaper with the tuck portion is efficiently and continuously manufactured.
SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the diaper with the tuck portion includes: a tuck portion formation step of forming, in a belt-shaped diaper continuous body 10, the tuck portion 104 which are continuously arranged over cut lines 103 along which the diaper continuous body 10 is divided into individual diapers 1 and 1, the diaper continuous body alternately having, in the longitudinal direction, first connection parts 10A and second connection parts 10B, the first connection part each being formed by continuation of back side formation parts A1 and A1 for forming the back sides of the diapers, the second connection parts each being formed by continuation of abdominal side formation parts B1 and B1 for forming the abdominal sides of the diapers and a cutting step of cutting the diaper continuous body 10 at the cut lines 103 so as to cut the continuous tack portion 104. Thus, the diaper with the tuck portion is manufactured, which has the tuck portion 9 being one portion of the continuous tuck portion 104.
