PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporter that softly covers a leg part without imparting a feeling of tight fitting or a feeling of pain and that makes a user less uncomfortable due to its thickness felt when the supporter is worn under trousers.SOLUTION: In a supporter worn from an ankle to at least a shank, parts of tubular knit bodies 20, 30 knitted from knitting yarns 40, 41, rubber yarn 44, and/or covering yarn 45 are folded inside, and the edges of the folded ends are sewn to the tubular knit bodies, thereby forming a double structure having an outer layer 21 and an inner layer 22. The portion of the double structure is worn on an ankle, and the portion of a single structure, which is the remaining parts of the tubular knit bodies, is worn on at least a knee. The outer layer and inner layer of the double structure are knitted by sinker borne knitting in pile knitting with a rib stitch of 1:1 to 6:2, thereby the area between the inner and outer layers of the double structure is composed as a heat-retaining space 70.
