PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper which suppresses bending of a back end edge of the disposable diaper to a non-skin-facing surface side for preventing the leakage of excrement.SOLUTION: A back end edge of a waist elastic body 50 of a disposable diaper 1 is positioned in a front side with respect to a back end edge of a diaper body 2 and is also positioned in a back side with respect to a back end edge of an absorber 30. An outer edge of the waist elastic body is positioned on the outer side in a lateral direction than a leg opening elastic body. A region extending to the back side from the leg opening elastic body is a non-joined region in which the waist elastic body and a sheet material are not joined to each other.
