PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve fitness of an abdominal side waistline part in an underpants type diaper.SOLUTION: An underpants type disposable diaper (1) includes: an absorbent body (10) which has a vertical direction, a horizontal direction, and a thickness direction crossing one another and absorbs a fluid an abdominal side waistline part (3) positioned at one end part in a longitudinal direction of the absorbent body (10) and a back side waistline part (4) positioned at the other end part in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent body. A lower end part on the abdominal side waistline part (3) is provided with an elastic member (36lg) stretchable in the horizontal direction. The elastic member (36lg) has an inclined part (36lgc) inclined diagonally upward from outside to the inside in the horizontal direction at least in an area overlapping the absorbent body (10) in the thickness direction.
