The fiber structure has a first density. The pre-stitch anchor also includes a monofilament woven through the fiber structure. The monofilament has a second density different from the first density. The contrasting density (i.e., irregularity) supports the "locking" function of the pre-suture anchor by creating greater gripping force on hard and soft bones.
