The present invention relates to a flexible catheter, which comprises: an insertion part including a plurality of bending parts arranged in the longitudinal direction； an operation part connected to the insertion part； a direction adjusting wire having one end connected to the operation part and the other end fixed to the insertion part to bend the bending part depending on the length drawn by the operation part； and a limiter provided on the direction adjusting wire and configured to enable each bending part to be bent as the bending parts draw the direction adjusting wire. The flexible catheter using wires according to the present invention can smoothly perform steering more than 180°, and since the flexible catheter can bend the bending parts sequentially, steering can be performed with an angle optimized for a specific tissue, thereby performing the operation efficiently and accurately.본 발명은 길이방향으로 배치된 복수의 벤딩부를 포함하여 구성되는 삽입부, 삽입부와 연결되는 조작부, 일단이 조작부와 연결되며, 타단이 삽입부에 고정되어 조작부에 의해 당겨지는 길이에 따라 벤딩부를 벤딩할 수 있도록 구성되는 방향조절와이어, 방향조절와이어에 구비되며, 복수의 벤딩부가 방향조절와이어를 당김에 따라 각 벤딩부가 순차적으로 벤딩될 수 있도록 구성되는 리미터를 포함하여 구성되는 연성 카테터에 관한 것이다.본 발명에 따른 와이어를 이용한 연성 카테터는 180도 이상의 조향이 원활하게 이루어질 수 있으며, 벤딩부를 순차적으로 벤딩시킬 수 있어 특정 조직에 최적화된 각도로 조향이 가능하여 수술을 효율적이고 정확하게 수행할 수 있는 효과가 있다.
