PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damping structure of a light source unit for an endoscope, for efficiently absorbing vibrations generated by a vibration source inside the endoscope light source unit despite an inexpensive configuration.
SOLUTION: The damping structure of the light source unit for the endoscope includes: a bottom plate 12 configuring the bottom part of a case 11 a base member 20 provided with a top plate part 21 which is separated at the upper part from the bottom plate and supports a motor 50 and a mounting part 22 which is extended downward from the top plate part and abutted on the upper surface of the bottom plate and a damping member 25 which is positioned between the ceiling part of the base member and the bottom plate, whose upper surface and lower surface are in contact with the bottom plate and the opposing surface of the top plate part respectively, and which is formed from an elastic material.
