PURPOSE: A plant-growing apparatus is provided to radiate uniform amount of light to plants regardless of the height change by the growth of the plants. CONSTITUTION: A plant-growing apparatus comprises the following: a frame(11) including plural column(23)； an upper plate(13) horizontally supported by the frame； a supporter plate(27) supported by the frame for mounting flowerpots for planting plants, and installed on the lower side of the upper plate to control the interval with the upper plate； a lighting unit(15) mounted on the upper plate for radiating light to the downward directions； a reflection sheet surrounding a flowerpot storage space in between the upper plate and the supporter plate, and reflecting the light radiated from the lighting unit to the flowerpot storage space； and a controller(33) located on the lower side of the supporter plate for controlling the lighting unit.본 발명은 식물 생장 장치에 관한 것이다. 이는 프레임에 수평으로 지지되는 상부플레이트와； 상기 상부플레이트의 간격을 조절 할 수 있도록 상부플레이트의 하부에 설치하고, 생장중인 식물이 식재된 화분을 그 위에 올려 지지하는 받침플레이트와； 상기 상부플레이트에 장착되며 빛을 하향 조사하는 조명부와； 상기 상부플레이트와 받침플레이트 사이의 화분수용공간을 감싸며 상기 조명부로부터 조사되는 빛을 화분수용공간으로 반사하는 반사시트와； 상기 받침플레이트의 하부에 배치되며 상기 조명부를 제어하는 콘트롤러를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.상기와 같이 이루어지는 본 발명의 식물 생장 장치는, 광원에 대한 식물의 이격거리가 쉽게 조절 가능하므로, 식물의 생장에 따른 크기변화에 관계없이 항상 일정한 광량을 조사할 수 있고, 또한 반사시트로 감싸여 있기 때문에 광원으로부터 조사되는 빛의 대부분이 식물에 전달되므로 소비전력 대비 광조사 효율이 높고, 다수의 광원을 독립적으로 제어할 수 있으므로 조사량을 필요에 맞추어 조절할 수 있으며, 화분의 흙에 꼽혀 식물을 지지하는 지지막대에 눈금자가 부착되어 식물의 생장에 따른 길이의 측정이 매우 간편하다.
