PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellulose composite which excels in suspension stability at a low concentration, has a high thickening effect in the form of an aqueous dispersion, and has difficulty in causing syneresis, separation, and aggregation.SOLUTION: The cellulose composite includes cellulose, tamarind seed gum, and carboxymethyl cellulose sodium and the cellulose is 50-99 mass% and the sum of the tamarind seed gum and the carboxymethyl cellulose sodium is 1-50 mass%, and the ratio of the tamarind seed gum to the carboxymethyl cellulose sodium is 30/70 to 99/1, and the storage elastic modulus (G) in an aqueous dispersion including 1 mass% cellulose composite is 0.5 Pa or more.
