PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a root vegetable harvester capable of smoothly treating remaining leaves even if only a few root vegetables are harvested.SOLUTION: In the root vegetable harvester, crops are taken over from a pulling/conveying device 3 for pulling and conveying crops from a field to a shoulder arranging/conveying device 12 by which the crops are shoulder-arranged, the foliage of the shoulder-arranged crops is cut by a cutting device 13, and the crops whose foliage is cut are received and conveyed while treated by remaining leaf treating devices 35 (composed of a conveyor 36 and rollers 37). After that, the crops are put into a container member 6 by a sorting/conveying device 7. As the crops are transferred one by one to a plurality of the devices 35 in the root vegetable harvester, gathering of many crops to one device 35 can be prevented, and as a result, uncut leaves remaining in the crops can be securely removed. Accordingly, it is not necessary to remove remaining leaves manually by hand in a later step, and as a result, the working efficiency is improved, and at the same time labors of a worker can be reduced. Further, collision of crops with one another can be prevented while remaining leaves are treated in the plurality of devices 35, so that injury to the crops by the impact of contact can be prevented and impairment of the commodity value of the crops can be prevented.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】 複数本の根菜類の収穫物であっても、残葉処理がスムーズに行える根菜類収穫機を提供すること。【解決手段】 圃場から作物を引き抜き搬送する引抜搬送装置3から作物を引き継いで肩揃え搬送装置12で肩揃えされた作物の茎葉部を切断装置13で切断し、茎葉部を切断された作物を受けて搬送しながら、残葉処理装置35(コンベア36とローラ37からなる)で処理してから選別搬送装置7により収容部材6に入れる根菜類収穫機であり、複数設けた装置35に順番に作物を移動させることにより、一つの装置35に多数の作物が集中することを防止できるので、作物から切り残された残葉が確実に除去されるため、後工程で残葉を手作業で取り除く必要が無く、作業能率が向上すると共に作業者の労力が軽減され、複数の装置35で残葉処理中の作物同士がぶつかり合うことを防止できるので、接触の衝撃で作物が傷付くことが防止され、作物の商品価値が損なわれることがない。【選択図】図3
