Independent claims are included for: (1) an ester of 2-ethyl butanol with optionally saturated 9-16C-carboxylic acid (2) the preparation of ester comprising reacting a mixture containing 2-ethyl butanol and at least an optionally saturated 9-16C-carboxylic acid or 4-36C-dicarboxylic acid and (3) a cosmetic and/or pharmaceutical composition comprising at least an ester of 2-ethyl butanol with optionally saturated 4-36C-carboxylic acid or 4-36C-dicarboxylic acid, preferably at least an ester of 2-ethyl butanol with optionally saturated 4-18C-carboxylic acid or 4-18C-dicarboxylic acid and at least an emulsifier, surfactant, wax component, polymer and/or other oil bodies.本発明は、化粧品および/または医薬品における、2-エチルブタノールとC4~36カルボン酸またはC4~36ジカルボン酸とのエステルの使用に関する。この化合物は、特に軽い感触を特徴とする。
