The present invention relates to nanoparticles for encapsulating compounds, the preparation and uses thereof, comprising a casein matrix, a basic amino acid and a metal selected from a divalent metal, a trivalent metal and combinations thereof. The invention is applicable in the food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic sectors and in the nanotechnology sector.
