PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antibody against cancer stem cell markers for diagnosing and treating solid tumor.SOLUTION: This invention relates to an isolated antibody which specifically binds to an extracellular domain of a human DLL4 formed by combining a human DLL4N terminal region, which is a human DLL4 epitope, and a human DLL4DSL, and which affects proliferation of a tumor including a cancer stem cell. The invention also relates to a method for producing an antibody which comprises transforming a host cell with a polynucleotide expression vector encoding an antibody, expressing the antibody, and purifying the antibody from a culture medium.
