PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil cleansing agent which has a good cleansing effect and rinsability during washing away, has excellent spreadability at the beginning of application and excellent slipperiness during use and reduces the burden on the skin.SOLUTION: There is provided an oil cleansing agent which comprises 1 to 20 mass% of a component (a), 45 to 90 mass% of a component (b) (a liquid oily component) and 5 to 50 mass% of (c) a polyhydric alcohol fatty acid ester-based surfactant. The component (a) is an alkyloxirane derivative represented by the formula (1) in which a chromatogram determined by gel permeation chromatography measurement has a value in a specified range.
