PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce costs by eliminating the need of a power source for elevating and lowering a footrest of a detachable wheelchair seat.SOLUTION: The detachable wheelchair seat comprises a seat frame 20, a footrest 30, and a connection mechanism 40 for connecting the footrest 30 to the seat frame 20 so as to elevate and lower the footrest 30 between an appropriate height position for a wheelchair and an indoor appropriate height position. When a base 56b for the seat of a sheet moving mechanism approaches the lower side of the seat frame 20 and is elevated and the seat frame 20 is mounted on the base 56b for the seat, the connection mechanism 40 elevates the footrest 30 to the indoor appropriate height position by the push-up force of the base 56b for the seat.
