The present invention provides nucleotide sequences that encode a polypeptide that includes an immunoglobulin variable domain with an altered glycosylation acceptor site. Specifically, the invention provides immunoglobulin variable domain proteins modified with selected glycans, and specific glycan conjugates thereof.
