FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemistry of pesticides. Method of producing N-(isopropoxycarbonyl)-O-(4-chlorophenylcarbamoyl)ethanolamine (I) involves reacting N-(isopropoxycarbonyl)ethanolamine (II) with a phosgenic agent and subsequent reaction of formed N-(isopropoxycarbonyl)-O-(chloroformyl)ethanolamine (IV) with 4-chloroaniline (V) in a solvent. Phosgenic agent used is hexachlorodimethylcarbonate (III), the reaction is carried out in the presence of a tertiary amine and a solvent which is an anhydrous hydrocarbon, after which reacting the obtained solution of N-(isopropoxycarbonyl)-O-(chloroformyl) ethanolamine (IV) with 4-chloroaniline (V) in the presence of a tertiary amine and a solvent which is an anhydrous hydrocarbon, followed by separation of the end product (I). Tertiary amine used is pyridine, 2-picoline, 2,6-lutidine, N,N-dimethylaniline, N,N-diisopropylethylamine or triethylamine. Hydrocarbon used is an aromatic or chlorine-containing aliphatic hydrocarbon. Aromatic hydrocarbon used is toluene, o-xylene, ethylbenzene, cumene or chlorobenzene. Chlorine-containing aliphatic hydrocarbon used is methylene chloride, tetrachloromethane or dichloroethane.EFFECT: disclosed method of producing N-(isopropoxycarbonyl)-O-(4-chlorophenylcarbamoyl)ethanolamine provides improved environmental parameters of the process, reduction of costs for provision of safety requirements and improvement of convenience of technological process of production, reduces time of process and ensures output of target product of 78–80 %.5 cl, 9 exИзобретение относится к области химии пестицидов.
