An intraocular lens comprises an optic and two or more haptics, wherein the optic is convexo-concave, i.e. both faces are curved in the same sense with respect to the plane defined by the rim of the optic, wherein the haptics lie at an angle with respect to said plane and on the same side thereof as the optic's faces, and wherein each haptic has a smooth, undulating radially outer edge.La présente invention concerne un cristallin artificiel qui comprend un élément optique et deux ou plusieurs éléments haptiques. Dans ledit cristallin artificiel, l'élément optique est convexo-concave, par exemple les deux faces sont courbées dans le même sens par rapport au plan défini par le bord de l'élément optique. Les éléments haptiques se trouvent à un angle par rapport audit plan et sur le même côté de celui-ci que les faces de l'élément optique, chaque élément haptique possédant un bord extérieur lisse ondulant radialement.
