PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a thinness, a wearing feeling, and a texture without losing absorption performance in an absorber having a plurality of cells in which absorbent materials are enclosed.
SOLUTION: An absorbent article includes a first sheet 57, a second sheet 58 in which a plurality of creases extending in a prescribed direction are juxtaposed, and the absorbent material 59 disposed between the first and second sheets 57, 58. A joining part 56b is formed by joining the first sheet 57 and a bottom part of the first sheet side in each crease 58F of the second sheet, and the tunnel-shaped cell 56C is formed by leaving the first sheet 57 and the second sheet 58 disjoined between the joining parts 56b. The powder and granular absorbent materials 59 including at least high absorbent polymer particles are movably enclosed in the respective cells 56C with sufficient gaps. The absorber 56 on which a plurality of tuck parts 55 having a folding line extending along a direction perpendicular to the extending direction of the creases 58F are formed is provided on the second sheet 58.
