The automatic tooth separation method in the two maxillofacial image according to an embodiment includes the steps of generating a two-dimensional panoramic image in consideration of the inclination of the teeth in the two maxillofacial image； In the 2D panoramic image, using the alveolar bone upper boundary region extracted from the cranial and maxillofacial image, selecting a candidate tooth separation point and determining a tooth separation line based on the tooth separation candidate point； And in the 2D panoramic image, determining a tooth separation plane using the tooth separation line and the arcuate curve of the crown region extracted from the craniofacial image.일 실시 예에 따른 두개악안면영상에서의 자동치아 분리방법은, 두개악안면영상에서 치아의 기울어짐을 고려한, 2차원 파노라마 영상을 생성하는 단계； 상기 2차원 파노라마 영상에서, 상기 두개악안면영상에서 추출된 치조골 상부 경계 영역을 이용하여 치아 분리 후보지점을 선정하고, 상기 치아분리 후보지점을 기준으로 치아 분리선을 결정하는 단계； 및 상기 2차원 파노라마 영상에서, 상기 치아 분리선 및 상기 두개악안면영상에서 추출된 치관영역의 아치형 곡선을 이용하여 치아 분리평면을 결정하는 단계를 포함할 수 있다.
