PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument for artificial knee joint replacement surgery, with which the position of a desired site inside a patient body can easily be specified.SOLUTION: The instrument for artificial knee joint replacement surgery comprises: a holding mechanism 2 which includes a holding part 4 having contact parts 6 to be brought into contact with contact objects of a patient undergoing artificial knee joint replacement surgery, and which is held against the patient while the contact parts 6 are in contact with the contact objects； and an indicating mechanism 3 comprising a positional specification requiring object indicating part 18, which is attached to the holding mechanism 2 and is to be arranged in a position corresponding to the positional specification requiring object, or the site in the patient of which position needs to be specified with the holding mechanism 2 held against the patient.
