PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator that detects a gas in a storage compartment with reduced pressure and controls the storage compartment to a preservation state suitable for a stored item.SOLUTION: There is provided the refrigerator including the storage compartment and a pressure reducing means for discharging the gas in the storage compartment to the outside for pressure reduction.
