The film for use in the oral cavity according to claim 1, which when hydrated is able to provide a pH range from about 7.5 to 9.5, which is optimal for the formation of the mineral hydroxycarbonate. ! 4. The film for use in the oral cavity according to claim 1, where the water-soluble polymer film former is an edible non-ionic derivative of cellulose, such as hydroxypropyl cellulose. ! 5.
