A method for acquiring a 4D image according to an embodiment of the present invention includes the steps of: reconstructing a 3D image composed of a plurality of frames from scan data which is gated designating one or more target frames in the 3D image, acquiring motion information of neighboring frames in a predetermined time range for each target frame of the 3D image, and extending the predetermined time range and acquiring the 4D image by compensating the motion for each of the target frames based on the acquired motion information. Accordingly, the present invention can improve the quality of the 4D image by using the motion information of the neighboring frames.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017일 실시예에 따른 4D 영상을 획득하는 방법은, 게이팅(Gating)된 스캔 데이터로부터 복수 개의 프레임들로 이루어진 3D 영상을 재구성하는 단계 상기 3D 영상에서 적어도 하나 이상의 타겟 프레임을 지정하고, 상기 3D 영상의 각각의 타겟 프레임에 대하여 일정시간 범위에 이웃한 프레임들의 움직임 정보를 획득하고, 상기 일정시간 범위가 확장되는 단계 및 상기 획득한 움직임 정보에 기초하여 상기 각각의 타겟 프레임에 대하여 움직임을 보상함으로써 4D 영상을 획득하는 단계를 포함할 수 있다.
