For adjustment of a quantity of injection fluid which is to be ejected out of the injection device (1, 101, 201), the adjustment part (22, 22', 122, 222) moves, in relation to the housing (2, 102, 202), in a first direction of rotation (45) about a longitudinal centre axis (10, 110, 210) of the injection device (1, 101, 201) and, on account of a third threaded connection (23, 123), in the distal direction. For ejecting the injection fluid, the adjustment part (22, 22', 122, 222) moves in a second direction of rotation (51), counter to the first direction of rotation (45), and moves in the proximal direction. The injection device (1, 101, 201) has a latching means (25, 125, 225), which defines at least one latching position of the adjustment part (22, 22', 122, 222) and which acts between the adjustment part (22, 22', 122, 222) and the housing (2, 102, 202). Each latching position of the latching means (25, 125, 225) is assigned a specific rotary position of the adjustment part (22, 22', 122, 222) in relation to the housing (2, 102, 202).
