PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optometer, when performing monocular examination, with both eyes opened, capable of easily setting a fogging state suited to a subject, and an optometry program.SOLUTION: The optometer for examining subject's eyes, includes: a pair of left/right lens units disposed on optical paths of luminous flux of optotypes projected to the subject's eyes and changing optical characteristics of the luminous flux of the optotypes； control means for controlling drive of the lens units； and acquisition means for acquiring target visual acuity values in fogging.
