SOLUTION: The photochromic pigment of the present invention contains 99.0 to 99.9 mass% TiO2 and 0.1 to 1.0 mass% Fe2O3 based on the total mass of the photochromic pigment. The average particle size of the photochromic pigment measured by the laser diffraction / scattering method is 1 to 20 μm, and the average primary particle size of the photochromic pigment measured by the field emission scanning electron microscope is 10 to 100 nm.
