PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel composition effective for suppressing mental fatigue. According to the present invention, there is provided a composition for suppressing mental fatigue, which comprises a hop oxidation reaction product. The composition of the present invention is preferably a food composition and can be ingested by a subject suffering from mental fatigue or a subject susceptible to mental fatigue. Mental fatigue is due to, for example, a load on brain function. The hop oxidation reaction product is preferably the S-fraction.
