PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking type transplanter capable of accurately planting seedlings even when the transplanter travels on a traveling surface with a many unevennesses.SOLUTION: A traveling body 3 includes driving shafts 41 rotated and driven around the right and the left shafts, swinging supporting shafts 46 located on the lower side of the driving shafts 41, and having shaft centers in the right and the left directions, and crawler type traveling apparatuses 18 traveling in furrow trenches M, on both the right and the left sides of the traveling machine body 9. The crawler type traveling apparatus 18 is provided with a driving wheel 47 integrally rotating with the driving shaft 41, front and rear idlers 48 and 49 located on the lower side of the driving wheel 47, rotating wheels 50 located between the front and the rear idlers 48 and 49, a crawler belt 15 stretched over the driving wheel 47, the front and the rear idlers 48 and 49, and the rotating wheel 50, and a swinging frame 51 having the upper part freely swingably supported with the swinging supporting shaft 46, and the front and the rear idlers 48 and 49, and the rotating wheel 50 are freely rotatably supported in the lower part.
