PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice transplanter which prevents defective planting through detecting a fields ground surface and correcting a gap between the fields contacted ground surface, which is detected by floats, and the fields real ground surface, and thereby, detecting proper planting height.SOLUTION: A rice transplanter includes floats which detect a fields ground surface, and includes a sensor which is provided as the one different from the floats, and detects the fields ground surface. The sensor possesses a detecting part which follows the fields ground surface and a supporting part which swingingly supports the detecting part. The sensor detects height of the fields ground surface by measuring a swing angle at a time when the detecting part is following the fields ground surface.
