PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of treating various diseases, disorders, or conditions in patients using reprogrammed cells, such as retrodifferentiated, transdifferentiated, or redifferentiated cells.SOLUTION: The population of reprogrammed cells is obtained by reprogramming a first cell lineage containing committed cells derived from a patient in use of the population of reprogrammed cells in a preparation of a medicament or pharmaceutical composition for repairing or replenishing tissue or cells of a patient suffering from diseases, disorders, or conditions due to tissue injury.
