PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel protein raw material safe and useful for prevention or treatment of various bone diseases such as osteoporosis, bone fracture, rheumatism and arthritis by ingestion daily, and food and drink for bone strengthening or animal feeds useful for prevention or treatment of various bone diseases such as osteoporosis, bone fracture, rheumatism and arthritis by oral ingestion.SOLUTION: There is provided a protein raw material containing angiogenin and/or angiogenin decomposition product of 2 to 15 mg/100 mg and cystatin and/or cystatin decomposition product with mass ratio to the angiogenin and/or the angiogenin decomposition product in a range of 0.003 to 0.6.
