The method involves directing a luminous flux (5) in a direction of transmission area (6) located under a sole (1) of a foot (2) of an individual (3), and measuring transmitted luminous intensity (7) through the skin (4) of the foot at a reception area (8) located under the sole of the foot of the individual.
