PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ophthalmological observation device capable of implementing new usage of a front cross-sectional image acquired by Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT).SOLUTION: An ophthalmological observation device according to an embodiment includes: an optical system for performing OCT; a three dimensional image acquisition unit for sequentially acquiring three dimensional images of a subject's eye on the basis of data sequentially acquired by the optical system by repeatedly performing the Optical Coherence Tomography on a three dimensional area of the subject's eye; a cross-sectional image formation unit for sequentially forming front cross-sectional images on the basis of the three dimensional images sequentially acquired by the three dimensional image acquisition unit; a display control unit for making display means perform moving image display of the front cross-sectional images sequentially formed by the cross-sectional image formation unit; and a measurement control unit for making the optical system execute OCT on a cross-sectional position designated, through operation means, for the front cross-sectional image displayed on the display means.
