PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxygen concentrator which achieves a reduction in the noise of a compressor that is a source of generation of the noise.SOLUTION: The oxygen concentrator is equipped with the compressor including a compressed air generating part for generating compressed air, a negative pressure generating part for generating a negative pressure, and a direct current brushless motor, an absorbing cylindrical body filled with an absorbing agent, and a changeover means for switching a flow passage alternately between a state of separately generating oxygen by introducing the compressed air into the absorbing cylindrical body and a state of introducing the negative pressure into the absorbing cylindrical body when the absorbing agent is saturated with nitrogen, a container in which the separately generated oxygen is accumulated, and an oxygen inhaling instrument which is connected to the container.
