PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a needle-like body, which manufactures a needle-like body by creating a transfer plate excellent in durability without using an original plate and using the created transfer plate.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a needle-like body in which a protrusion part whose external dimensions are gradually narrowed on one surface of a support substrate is arranged in the form of an array includes: a step for preparing a first metal plate with no through hole, and second metal plates having the same number as stages of the protrusion part, wherein each of the second metal plates includes one through hole of a shape corresponding each of the respective stages of the protrusion part or a plurality of through holes in the form of the same array as the arrangement of the protrusion part； a step for creating a transfer plate with a recessed part of a shape corresponding to the protrusion part by sequentially overlapping and sticking the plurality of second metal plates on the first metal plate in an ascending order of external dimensions of through holes provided in the respective metal plates； and a step for manufacturing a needle-like body by transferring the recessed part formed in the transfer plate to a needle-like body formation material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3【課題】原版を用いずに耐久性に優れた転写版を作製し、作製した転写版を用いて針状体を製造する針状体の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】支持基板の一方の面に階段状に外形寸法が狭まる突起部がアレイ状に配列された針状体の製造方法は、貫通孔のない第１の金属板と、突起部の段数と同数の第２の金属板であって、それぞれの第２の金属板に、突起部の各段のそれぞれに対応する形状の貫通孔が１つまたは突起部の配列と同じアレイ状に複数設けられた第２の金属板を用意する工程と、第１の金属板上に、複数の第２の金属板を、それぞれに設けられた貫通孔の外形寸法が小さい順に重ねて貼り合わせることにより、突起部に対応する形状の凹部が形成された転写版を作製する工程と、転写版に形成された凹部を針状体形成材料に転写することにより、針状体を製造する工程とを備える。【選択図】図３
