The present invention relates to a method for purifying a cross-linked hyaluronic acid gel which is chemically crosslinked and, more particularly, to a method for purifying a cross-linked hyaluronic acid gel by selectively removing only a residual cross-linking agent in the cross-linked hyaluronic acid gel without lowering the content of hyaluronic acid contained in the cross-linked hyaluronic acid gel. A gel manufactured by the method of the present invention is able to obtain cross-linked hyaluronic acid with high purity without complicated processes.
