The Extended release tablets of Ranolazine were well absorbed and the extent of absorption was higher than that of the marketed tablet. The bioavailability and peak plasma concentration (Cmax) of ranolazine tablets were significantly increased compared with marketed tablet. The Extended and efficient drug delivery system developed in the present study will maintain plasma levels better, which will overcome the drawbacks associated with the conventional therapy.
