A harpoon tip comprises a body with a destructive part in the form of a cone or a many-sided pyramid with a base that is reciprocal with the body. The destructive part of the tip is provided with a dagger-like blade with a double bevel. The back of the blade is widest at the base of the destructive part of the tip. La surface offensive de lembout comprend une lame de type poignard avec une pointe effilée des deux côtés. La partie arquée de la lame atteint sa largeur maximale à la base de la partie offensive de lembout. Larête du bord de coupe de la lame présente un certain angle par rapport au plan central de la lame et est formée par les facettes opposée et conjointes selon un angle aigu des pointes des lames. La surface de la lame consiste en une surface de type vis dArchimède avec une orientation de langle dattaque liée à la direction fonctionnelle de lalésage du fut du corps.
