PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope light source device which when plural monochrome semiconductor light sources, each emitting light of its respective color among plural different colors, are used, can reduce the changes of hue in display images taken in each pass of endoscopic diagnosis, and also to provide an endoscope system using such an endoscope light source device.SOLUTION: A collimator lens 75 which allows blue light BL from a blue semiconductor light source 35 to pass therethrough and a collimator lens 77 which allows red light RL from a red semiconductor light source 37 to pass therethrough are provided with adjustment mechanisms 81, 82, respectively. The adjustment mechanisms 81, 82 move the collimator lenses 75, 77 in an optical axis direction to make the focal position of the blue light BL and the focal position of the red light RL match the focal position of green light GL. Even if the positional relationship between a condenser lens 80 and an incident end 61 of a light guide 55 changes, the light quantity balance among light beams of those colors entering the incident end 61 remains unchanged, with the result that display images with unchanged hue are generated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
