PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical device capable of sufficiently capturing a capturing object even when a lumen is deformed.SOLUTION: A medical device 100 includes an accommodation part 110 and an impeller holding part 120. The accommodation part accommodates a capturing object (e.g., solid calculus K and semisolid blood clot B) existing in a living body (e.g., a urinary tract 630), and includes a lumen 110b in which the shape of part of at least the tip side is deformable, and the inner surface before and after the deformation is configured so as to be flat as a whole, a tip opening 110a and a base end opening 110c communicated with the lumen respectively, and a filter 113 for capturing at least one or more capturing objects.
