PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a precise discrimination and reduction of dose by automatically optimizing a discrimination map in a dual energy X-ray CT apparatus.SOLUTION: X-ray absorptivity acquired by the dual energy X-ray CT apparatus is applied to a discrimination map showing relationships between X-ray absorptivity and subjects compositions to discriminate compositions of a subject. A discrimination map forming section forms a discrimination map by calculating existence probability of each composition for each of a plurality of X-ray absorptivity value combinations on the basis of photographing conditions such as the photographing position of the subject, tube voltage or the like and by determining a composition with the highest existence probability as the composition corresponding to an X-ray absorptivity value combination. By doing so, a discrimination map is formed for each photographing condition, and the precision of composition discrimination is improved.COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT【課題】デュアルエネルギーX線CT装置において識別マップを自動的に最適化することで識別の高精度化および線量の低減を実現する。【解決手段】デュアルエネルギーX線CT装置で取得したX線吸収率を、X線吸収率と被写体の組成との関係を示す識別マップにあてはめ、被写体組成を識別する。識別マップ作成部は、被写体の撮影部位、管電圧等の撮影条件に基づき、各組成の存在確率を複数種類のX線吸収率値の組み合わせごとに算出し、存在確率が最も大きい組成を、X線吸収率値の組み合わせに対応する組成と決定することにより、識別マップを作成する。これにより、撮影条件ごとに識別マップを作成することができるため、組成識別の高精度化を実現できる。【選択図】図4
