PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for use within an occluded biological vessel to remove occlusion material from the tube.SOLUTION: The device includes an elongated body and projections arranged around a distal portion the elongated body. The protrusions are collapsed with respect to the elongated body when advancing distally through an occlusion in a biological tube, and expand radially outward by itself when the device is located in the occlusion in the biological tube and drawn proximally.
