PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which can improve visibility of a fluorescent image in composing a visible image and a fluorescent image of a subject into a composite image.SOLUTION: An image processing part 31 in a control unit 30 identifies dominant hues in a visible image by a dominant hue identifying part 37, identifies as a colored hue a phase in which a total sum of absolute values of respective differences in R, G, B values becomes a set value or larger and a luminance ratio becomes maximum with respect to the dominant hues by a colored hue identifying part 38, colors a near-infrared image to be a fluorescent image with the colored hue identified by the colored hue identifying part 38 with a fluorescent image coloring part 39, and creates a composite image by composing the visible image with the near-infrared image colored by the fluorescent image coloring part 39 with a composing part 36.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
