PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recognition device of a container capable of reading predetermined information attached to the container without disposing an imaging device between an input port and a first container rotary roller and a second container rotary roller.SOLUTION: A recognition device of a container comprises: a first region 15 in which a container input port 3 is formed a second region 16 in which an imaging device 7 for recognizing predetermined information attached to the container to be input to the container input port 3 is disposed a first container rotary roller 4 which is movable between the first region 15 and the second region 16 and is positioned below the container input port 3 and the imaging device 7, and whose rotary shaft is substantially horizontal and a second container rotary roller 5 whose rotary shaft is substantially parallel to the rotary shaft of the first container rotary roller 4, and which can rotate in the same direction as the first container rotary roller 4 and can move with the first container rotary roller 4 between the first region 15 and the second region 16.
